Sr. QMS/PLM IT Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sr. IT Quality & PLM Systems Engineer to lead the implementation and optimization of electronic Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools across our manufacturing operations. In this role, youll drive digital quality initiatives, support regulatory compliance, and connect quality processes with enterprise systems. Youll help improve product development, streamline operations, and enhance overall product quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and improve QMS and PLM systems to support manufacturing quality. Configure quality modules (CAPA, audits, document control, nonconformance, supplier quality). Develop dashboards and reports to provide insights into quality performance. Ensure QMS compliance with ISO 9001 and manage system validation (IQ/OQ/PQ). Set up PLM modules for BOM, change control, and lifecycle management. Integrate QMS and PLM with ERP, MES, WMS, LIMS, and other systems. Enable real-time monitoring of quality metrics. Lead root cause analyses and corrective action plans. Identify process improvements to boost quality and reduce cost. Support compliance with industry regulations (ISO, FDA, APQP). Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to improve workflows. Streamline NPI and ECM processes. Train stakeholders on QMS tools and ensure adoption. Troubleshoot system issues and support technical users. Act as a bridge between production, engineering, and quality teams. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering or Computer Science (Masters preferred) 5+ years of QMS implementation and management experience in manufacturing Proficient in QMS tools (e.g., MasterControl, Arena, ETQ, TrackWise) Strong understanding of quality principles and compliance standards Experience with system validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) Skilled in Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, and process improvement Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proven project management skills with cross-functional teams Clear communicator across technical and non-technical groups Background in battery, automotive, or other regulated manufacturing is a plus TRC Talent Solutions is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
