Sr. Principal Product Engineer

Our Intelligent Sensor Group (ISG) is seeking a dynamic Senior Principal Product Engineer to join our Product Engineering team. In this position, you will have the opportunity to drive New Product Development (NPD) yields to entitlement levels collaborating with fab and assembly sites.
You will work closely with a cross functional team including Technology Development, Design, Reliability, Pixel Characterization, Test, Applications and Marketing to enable the timely release of production ready image sensors at competitive or entitlement yields. You will be responsible for product yields, root cause analysis of yield losses, and implementing corrective actions. This role will lead multiple cross functional product teams with regards to yield debug including team members from fab foundries and assembly/test subcon partners.
Responsibilities New product yield improvement including root cause identification and corrective action Collaborate with fab process foundries, assembly subcons, and cross functional teams to solve yield and image performance related issues Drive continuous improvement actions for silicon process, product register settings optimization, and testing robustness to improve product yield and quality Drive mass production readiness with multiple engineering and operations teams. Work with reliability engineers to achieve successful product qualification. Provide failure analysis engineering support for yield improvement and reliability qualifications Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or semiconductor engineering related field; Master’s or Ph. D degree preferred 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience in Product or Process Engineering Strong knowledge of CMOS mixed signal semiconductor fabrication, package assembly process, and statistical data analysis. Programming with Python is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills for relaying technical information at various levels through the organization. Understanding of CMOS image sensor architecture and operation is preferred. Relevant experience in introducing products into manufacturing or high-volume production
