Corvid Technologies is looking for a Sr. Network Engineer to join our team onsite at the PMRF in Kauai, HI. We are looking for applicants with experience in design, development, integration, maintenance, and operations of Network Systems to support various fixed and/or mobile Range Instrumentation Systems such as Telemetry, Communications, Network or Range Safety Systems for our test range customers. Sample tasking will include: Support the full Engineering Lifecycle from requirements definition to system design, development, test, integration, and validation Assist team members, customers, end users and partners with issue/problem resolution, including writing of technical documentation and participation in technical meetings Responsible for implementing the network engineering design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of networking systems such routers, switches, firewalls, and other physical hardware to support fixed and mobile range instrumentation systems Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues, and provide solutions to ensure networks are operating efficiently Support ongoing operations and sustainment activities to ensure networks comply with Cyber Security requirements Develop system documentation to include but not limited to standard operating procedures, schematics, user manuals, test procedures, test results, etc. Support design reviews of mission architecture with customers Regularly report status of projects to management and customers Ability to communicate technical information to other technical team members but also to customers who may not have knowledge of networking technical terminology Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to network systems Qualifications: Candidate must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance Bachelor's Degree in a related STEM Discipline and at least 10 years of relevant experience is required (or equivalent) in Engineering or Science field Demonstrated understanding of network services and networks is required Position will require a Security+ or equivalent certification (can be obtained in a reasonable timeframe after hire date) Preferred candidates will have a CCNA or similar certification demonstrating a fundamental network engineering technical foundation Why Corvid: Founded in 2004, we are a group of over 300 engineers and scientists, about 3/4 with master' degrees or Ph.D.'s, that provide end-to-end solutions including concept development, design and optimization, prototype build, test and manufacture.
