Engaging with vendor-managed run support teams and CNO architects to ensure performance, security, and availability for all Windows and Linux servers.

Engaging with vendor-managed run support teams and CNO architects to ensure performance, security, and availability for CNOs Active Directory Environment including integration with Microsoft 365 / Entra ID.

Creating and revising technical documentation for the Windows, Linux, and Active Directory environments.

Collaborating with technology architects on proposed improvements and new technologies.

Collaborating with other IT teams to resolve cross-functional problems.

The Sr. IT Engineer, Windows/Linux position is well-suited for you if you: Have extensive experience working with Windows Server (2008+) and Linux (Red Hat / CentOS / Ubuntu) systems in on-premises or cloud (Azure, AWS) enterprise environments.

Have an understanding of core data center services and concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP routing, firewalls, and load balancers.

Possess senior-level skills with Microsoft Active Directory including Domain Services, Certificate Services, and Group Policy across Microsoft and non-Microsoft operating systems.

Have demonstrated experience with integration between Active Directory Domain Services and Microsoft Entra ID.

What youll need: Bachelors degree in a related discipline or equivalent.

Minimum of 5 years experience supporting server and directory technologies

Ability to work within Central or Eastern time zone business hours

Ability to work after hours/weekend times as projects or support require

PowerShell/Unix shell programming experience to automate administrative, configuration, and information-gathering tasks.

Experience with Palo Alto firewalls, including site to site and client VPN capabilities

Experience with Cisco routing and switching, including Cisco ACI
