Core Responsibilities
The selected candidate will: Create and maintain high-quality code, tests, and documentation, primarily using .Net/C# for the backend and Angular for the frontend. Work on new feature development, maintenance, and support. Independently handle features with minor guidance from leads. Review tickets, assess gaps, provide input, and suggest implementation details. Keep tickets updated in Jira. Identify blockers and collaborate with the team to address them. Fix and improve code quality around assigned tasks. Perform code reviews, identifying issues, and suggesting improvements in readability and performance. Collaborate with Tech Leads, Architects, and Product Managers to understand user stories and technical design requirements. Participate in project planning and kickoff meetings to understand business requirements and contribute to solution delivery. Attend team sprint meetings and agile ceremonies, such as standups, refinements, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Be available and communicative via group channels. Build expertise in technologies, practices, projects, and features, understanding the system comprehensively. Contribute to a collaborative engineering team environment through problem-solving, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior engineers.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
The ideal candidate will have: Full-stack development experience with at least 3 years as an Engineer. Expertise in .Net/C# and Angular, specifically .Net 6 and Angular 13. Experience building web-based applications and working in a cloud-native development environment. Experience within agile development teams.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills or Experience
Additional skills that are advantageous include: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Contentful, GitLab, GCP tools, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
