SR. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER IMPACT:
The Senior Electrical Engineer position is for a licensed professional with multiple areas of technical expertise. This role supports projects through bidding, performance, checking, and production/quality management duties related to medium and low voltage power distribution in industrial facilities. The Senior Electrical Engineer will collaborate closely with the project teams throughout the design, engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
SR. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER DETAILS:
• Uphold the Core Values: Integrity, Honesty, Teamwork, and Quality • Serve as Electrical Engineer of Record for medium and large industrial facility EPC projects, including technical direction and sealing of electrical design documents and studies
• Perform thorough and professional engineering duties, including consultation, engineering design, equipment selection, coordination, safety review, planning, and checking
• Provide leadership to promote and develop team members’ abilities
• Regularly lead, audit, and provide direction to project teams, including supervisory responsibilities when needed
• Work directly with clients to develop and execute projects
• Develop proposals for new projects
• Provide written project progress reports for clients and management as appropriate • Manage tasks as assigned by the Director of Electrical Engineering
SR. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER BACKGROUND:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required (multiple state licenses preferred) • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry as an engineer
Direct and guide teams to complete projects on time and within budget • Experience with SKM or ETAP modeling software (strongly preferred) • Power company negotiation skills (a strong plus)
• Extensive knowledge of low and medium voltage three-phase motor control equipment, including reduced voltage and variable frequency drives
• Recognized Subject Matter Expert (SME) in multiple areas
• Experience in oil and gas treatment and processing (strong plus)
• Proficient in MS Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to maintain confidentiality as required
• Must be a strong teacher and mentor
Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time
