With new projects and international expansion on the horizon, they are seeking a Sr. Design Engineer to take the lead on groundbreaking product developments that shape the future of interactive display systems. Salary will be 100-115k
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex digital signage enclosures and integrated systems using SolidWorks (3D modeling, detailed drawings, BOMs).
- Manage and track project timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional design reviews to meet critical launch deadlines.
- Collaborate with product managers, manufacturing engineers, and electrical teams to ensure DFM (Design for Manufacturing) principles and product feasibility.
- Drive innovation in thermal management, including heat dissipation techniques for high-brightness displays and outdoor enclosures.
- Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to develop manufacturing processes, material selections, and assembly methods.
- Lead electromechanical integration efforts including cable routing, sealing systems, and display mounting.
- Conduct engineering analysis (FEA, tolerance stack-ups, thermal simulations) to validate designs before prototyping.
- Support product testing, documentation, and continuous improvement for production and field-deployed systems.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 3-8+ years of relevant experience in product design, ideally with electromechanical or ruggedized electronics.
- Advanced skills in SolidWorks (surfacing, large assemblies, simulations).
- Experience in thermal design and environmentally sealed enclosure development is highly desirable.
- Strong project management capabilities and communication skills across cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with global teams and navigating fast-paced development cycles.
