Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, citizenship is required.

As the Senior Engineer of Parts, Materials, and Processes (PM&P) Engineering, you will assist programs successfully to compete in the rapidly evolving space market. As a member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for driving new and innovative PM&P approaches improving our capabilities in space. These responsibilities include leading PM&P related activities and driving new technology selection and validation efforts for GDMS space programs.

Inform and drive new technology and capabilities initiatives and roadmaps
Ensure the mission success through proactive program engagement and innovative ideas
What Sets You Apart
Demonstrated technical excellence in engineering or a related technology area, particularly with commercial space systems
New technology identification, maturation and validation
Expertise in component technology for spaceborne applications including semiconductors, packaging, and screening/qualification approaches
Experience with space-relevant component standards including MIL, JEDEC, and TOR
Familiarity with Quality Conformance Inspection (QCI), Destructive Physical Analysis (DPA), Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) associated with space programs
