Responsibilities

Partner with the sales team to engage prospects and provide technical expertise during the sales process.

Assist in evaluating Baseten's platform for prospective clients.

Create tailored demonstrations and proof-of-concepts demonstrating Baseten's capabilities.

Gather customer requirements and provide feedback to inform product development.

Identify common customer challenges and collaborate with product teams to address them.

Stay updated on industry trends, ML models, and AI deployment best practices.

Work with the Forward Deployed Engineer team for strategic customer engagement.

Minimum Requirements

2+ years in technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or similar roles, preferably in ML/AI.

Intermediate proficiency in Python.

Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts, especially model deployment and inference.

Familiarity with open-source ML models and frameworks like LangChain and Hugging Face.

Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000 per year
