Solutions Engineer - Sheet Metal Fabrication

We're seeking a
n experienced Solutions Engineer to join our team. Role Overview:
Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers
Propose solutions to real business problems using technical expertise
Work with Sales team to sell manufacturing processes across North America
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct discovery meetings to uncover business and technical requirements
Consult with prospects and customers to identify applications of Xometry technology
Demonstrate Xometry capabilities, including our software quoting platform
Support internal teams by providing feedback and content for marketing collateral
Serve as an industry thought leader at events and webinars
Qualifications:
3-7+ years experience in engineering or technical field
Engineering degree (mechanical preferred) or related technical degree
Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes (sheet metal, sheet cutting, welding, metal extrusion)
Comfortable with technical discussions and executive-level presentations
Experience preparing technical solutions for business proposals
CAD experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Willingness to travel up to 20%
U.S. citizen, legal resident, or valid work visa required
