What You'll Do Cisco seeks a results-oriented and driven pre-sales Solutions Engineer to lead co-development engineering with a reputable hyperscaler customer. This highly technical role involves supporting the sales organization through all pre-sales activities, including hardware and software demonstrations, solution crafting, and feature planning. Responsibilities include: Supporting next-generation datacenter solutions and products Working with Cisco IOS-XR, NXOS, and open-source NOS like SONiC Implementing routing, switching, and network protocols Understanding silicon architecture, ASICs, and system designs Designing datacenter and WAN architectures Optical system design for datacenter environments Translating customer requests into engineering documents Delivering technical presentations and demos Coordinating data for customer reviews Utilizing automation tools and scripting Designing service provider networks and hardware architectures Implementing QoS, MPLS, Segment Routing, and Telemetry Who You'll Work With Collaborate with Cisco's latest silicon architectures, influencing software development and working alongside experienced pre-sales engineers and business leaders to meet customer demands. Who You Are A creative problem-solver who seeks continuous improvement, comfortable with technical discussions, coding, and demonstrating solutions. You excel at clarifying complex technical details and enhancing customer understanding. Minimum Qualifications 7+ years experience in a high-tech environment Cisco product experience Deep knowledge of SE skills and specialization areas Experience with datacenter/virtualization networking Preferred Qualifications Experience with competitive products BS/BA in EE/CS or equivalent; CCIE preferred Coding or software development experience Knowledge of SONiC Understanding of company, competitors, and technology landscape Leadership qualities and excellent communication skills Why Cisco?
