Solana Data Engineer

New Today

I'm working with a highly specialized research and engineering group that's been building deep in the Solana ecosystem for years. They've contributed to open-source initiatives, launched on-chain products, and operate some of the most performant validators in the network. The team's background spans low-latency infrastructure, high-frequency trading, and distributed systems at scale.
About the Role:
They're looking for a Data Engineer to join their New York office and take ownership of their Solana data infrastructure. In this role, you'll build and maintain high-throughput pipelines, real-time dashboards, and analytics platforms that extract insights from both historical and live Solana data.
What You'll Do:
Develop reliable pipelines to ingest on-chain data into ClickHouse or similar OLAP databases Interface directly with Solana full nodes and RPC infrastructure to collect raw blockchain data Build and maintain dashboards that visualize key metrics around validators, staking, and performance Ensure high uptime, accuracy, and performance of all analytics services Process validator-level performance metrics and staking reward calculations What They're Looking For: 3+ years of experience with Python, shell scripting, and containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes 2+ years of experience with Rust Deep experience with ClickHouse, Grafana, or similar analytics/visualization tools Familiarity with blockchain indexers, off-chain APIs, and data pipelines Strong understanding of Solana's account model, transaction structure, and program architecture Experience working with distributed messaging systems such as Kafka or Pulsar
