A Day in The Life
As a Software Test Engineer II working in the Seaport District of Boston, MA, you will use your growing understanding of software verification techniques for medical or other regulated systems.You will continue develop understanding of the SW Architecture, learning test strategy, build hands on experience in developing, execution and release activities of Software test in compliance with regulatory standards.
As a junior member of the Controls Verification team, you will be fully engaged with an Agile scrum team and directly work on the verification of the control software for the instrumentation’s robotic subsystem. This involves hands on developing automated and manual tests to verify the sophisticated embedded real-time platform and the instrument control software for the operation of the embedded actuator and sensor hardware. In addition, the role will involve supporting the electromechanical verification of the core surgical instruments, stapling and ligature instruments with the corresponding control software.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience
Nice to Have Entry to medium level Python or C++ coding ability.
Entry level MATLAB and/or Simulink experience.
Experience with Medical Product verification and FDA guidance.
Basic understanding of creating test protocols for verifying software requirements.
Participated manual test or automated test script development and execution.
Had experience testing medical devices controlled by software.
Ability to manage, track and upgrade multiple hardware and software configurations.
Good communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
