This role will be instrumental in supporting test coverage across cloud services, middleware, and vehicle connectivity strategies. Youll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust testing, working in a start-up culture focused on automation, communication, and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop advanced automated test suites using object-oriented methodologies and industry-standard tools. Test REST APIs used by mobile and web apps to communicate with backend vehicle systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with overall strategies. Document defects clearly and support root cause analysis with detailed logs and reproduction steps. Participate in release validation, OTA update testing, and vehicle testing. Perform end-to-end testing across different platforms, including upstream and downstream dependent systems. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 35+ years in software QA with at least 12 years in automotive software. Hands-on experience in test automation using Python, Selenium, Cypress , or similar tools. Strong manual testing experience for embedded vehicle software, mobile apps, and web platforms. Familiarity with MQTT, CAN, and LIN communication protocols. Experience with OTA update testing and vehicle telematics validation. Strong knowledge of web automation, manual testing, and software test life cycle. Proficiency in writing tests for RESTful APIs. Working knowledge of GitHub, JIRA, and test management tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, start-up environment. Willingness to travel as needed. 80% onsite in an open office with a collaborative start-up culture. Emphasis on automation, end-to-end and component testing, and excellent communication.
