Software Integration Engineer

The Software Integration Engineer shall be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software integration solutions for HPC infrastructure in a Linux environment. This position’s tasking involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate various technologies, ensuring smooth data flow between different systems and platforms. The Software Integration Engineer shall be expected to troubleshoot software integration issues, optimize performance, and ensure compliance with best practices.
Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience with integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS software in a heterogeneous operating system environment. OR The individual shall have five (5) years full time Computer Science directly related work that can be substituted for a degree and have at least eight (8) years of demonstrable experience. OR An industry recognized professional certification, as defined in the TT0s, may substitute as one (1) year experience. A Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field may substitute for two (2) years' experience.
Salary: $155,000-$170,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position, but is not guaranteed. Salary is based on experience, location and contractual requirements which could fall outside of the range listed. , Required Skills Experience using the Linux CLI Experience developing Bash/Python scripts to automate manual processes General HPC technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage system components Experience troubleshooting system and software issues across the full software stack Experience with IaC principles and automation tools including Ansible Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI Experience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana Experience with Git Source Control System , Desired Skills Familiar with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and applications Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence) , About Tensley Consulting, Inc.
