Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for an Software Engineer Title: Software Engineer Position type: Full Time – Contract Duration: 12+ Months Location: Irving TX – Hybrid As a Software Engineer, You will: • Identify opportunities for process improvements within software engineering. • Review and analyze basic or tactical software engineering assignments or challenges, requiring research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives for low-to-medium risk deliverables. • Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately situations. • Exercise independent judgment while developing an understanding of function policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. • Provide information to client personnel in Software Engineering. The ideal candidate will have: Experience with Spark, Hadoop, and Big Data. Experience with Spark SQL, Streaming, and data frame/dataset API. Experience with Spark query tuning and performance optimization. Deep understanding of Hadoop / Cloud platforms, HDFS, ETL/ELT processes, and Unix shell scripting. Experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL. Experience with SQL & NoSQL database integration with Spark (MS SQL Server and MongoDB). Deep understanding of distributed systems (CAP theorem, partition and bucketing, replication memory layouts, consistency). Experience in microservices development. Experience building cloud-ready enterprise solutions in AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF). Wxperience with Apache Kafka or Confluent Enterprise.
