### What You'll Be Doing: - Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain sophisticated software solutions for business applications and specialized utility programs. - Fine-tune and enhance a variety of intricate software implementation projects. - Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and create software solutions tailored to client needs. - Review enhancement requests and specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility. - Implement and customize system software in line with client specifications. - Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans. - Code new programs per client specifications and generate test data for thorough testing. - Modify existing programs to meet new standards, conducting unit testing for developed programs. - Create migration packages for different testing phases, ensuring seamless implementation. - Deliver quality assurance reviews and post-implementation validation of software.
### The Right Candidate Will Have: - A Bachelor's Degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. - 2-4 years of relevant experience. - A strong foundation in computer science, emphasizing data structures, algorithms, and software design. - Proven experience in large systems software design and development. - Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting, unit testing, and problem diagnosis for both new and legacy production systems. - Exceptional programming expertise and problem-solving acumen.
### Specific Responsibilities Include: - Triage and support complex bugs in collaboration with multiple internal and external software teams across various locations. - Lead thorough investigations into areas spanning hardware, signal integrity, power integrity, and software interactions. - Debug high-speed interfaces like DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, and serializer/deserializer links. - Troubleshoot high-power designs including PMICs, regulators, power sequencing, and thermal behavior. - Investigate audio subsystems, clocking, and mixed-signal interactions. - Organize next steps, track actions, and drive timely resolution of issues. - Exhibit hands-on proficiency in lab work involving oscilloscopes, high-speed probing, power measurements, and board bring-up. - Maintain impeccable Jira documentation, ensuring strong traceability and concise communication across hardware/software. - Assist with documentation for hardware-centric tests and act as a bridge between hardware, systems, and distributed software teams.
### Preferred Work Schedule: - 8 AM to 4 PM
