Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Agile experience preferred. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: [Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.] Applicants selected will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a software engineer for General Dynamics Mission Systems, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the entire software development life cycle. As a software engineer you will plan, design, develop, test, and maintain software applications to support of the weapons systems integrated into combat vehicles, ships, submarines, aircraft, spacecraft and other advanced defense systems. We encourage you to apply if you have these preferred skills or experiences: Linux experience at the User or Administrator Level Proficient in C/C++, or Java Experience with collaborative source control (ex.
