The Role We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Software Developer to join our fast-moving and agile team. You will play a key role in shaping solutions that empower CDL training providers, help trainees succeed, and simplify compliance with FMCSA regulations. This is a high-impact position requiring a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively. What You’ll Do Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using JavaScript, PHP, pgSQL, Angular, and React. Build intuitive user interfaces for non-technical users, such as CDL instructors and administrators. Implement scalable and secure APIs that support front-end functionality Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and stability. Automate processes like student management, driver record tracking, and ELDT compliance. Implement features to improve operational efficiency for CDL schools, carriers, and government agencies. Develop solutions that ensure 100% worry-free FMCSA audits. Gather requirements, prioritize impactful projects, and work closely with stakeholders. Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to teammates. Research and integrate emerging technologies to improve product performance and usability. Take ownership of projects from design to deployment. Contribute to our collaborative culture, ensuring every feature delivers value to users. What You’ll Need Proficiency in server-side languages like PHP, Python, Node.js, or C#. Strong experience with TypeScript, Angular v18+, and React. Solid understanding of relational databases. NoSQL experience is a plus. Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming, algorithms, and data structures. Familiarity with security best practices and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across teams. Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines. Ability to independently tackle complex problems and deliver results while managing multiple priorities.
