Software Engineer TS/SCI

We are seeking a Software Engineer to support a national security-focused agency in enhancing business process efficiency and knowledge management within the International Affairs office. This position involves full lifecycle software development, system analysis, user engagement, and maintaining specialized tools that improve organizational operations.
Responsibilities:
Support software development and maintenance for business process improvement and knowledge management tools
Coordinate and lead requirements gathering and user engagement activities
Deliver and maintain specific tools and capabilities for the International Affairs office
Conduct software testing, workforce training, and content management
Analyze system capabilities and recommend technical or process changes
Document, test, and debug applications
Develop embedded software for use on real-time and near real-time operating systems
Collaborate with leadership to create communication plans for deploying new tools
Prepare operating instructions and develop utility programs, compilers, assemblers, and operating systems as needed
Must Have's: Active and maintained Top Secret with SCI (TS/SCI) Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelor's degree
13+ years of professional working experience, or a Master's degree with 12+ years of experience, including at least 4 years in Software Engineering
Nie to Have's: TS/SCI with Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph
Experience with software quality processes and configuration/change management systems such as CMMI
Experience in security development operations (SecDevOps)
Experience with SharePoint custom workflows
Familiarity with international affairs or Intelligence Community coordination
Experience applying knowledge management, business intelligence, and process improvement methodologies
Experience leading teams of engineers or specialists
Experience designing user interface features and maintaining associated systems
Experience hosting sites on classified networks
Hands-on programming experience in Python
Programming and scripting experience for network automation
Experience with web-based technologies including HTML, object-oriented programming, graphics software, and content management systems
Experience in a CI/CD/DevOps/Agile environment

$160,000 - $200,000
