Responsibilities:
Design and implement innovative automated test frameworks and tools to effectively address testing gaps.
Collaborate with infrastructure and product engineering teams to ensure comprehensive automated testing practices.
Act independently as a project manager: track and report project status, escalate risks, and devise solutions to challenges.
Promote a culture of quality within Meta's Tech Audit and Centralized Privacy organization, advocating for high standards, promptly highlighting automation issues, and facilitating understanding of testing significance among teams.
Create and implement high-quality automated tests to ensure privacy compliance and release readiness.
Telecommuting: Work from the comfort of your home within the U.S. is permitted.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
Two years of relevant work experience in software engineering or a computer-related role.
Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, C#, Python, Bash, MATLAB, or Haskell.
Experience in unit testing and integration testing.
Familiarity with Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like operating systems, including file manipulation, advanced commands, and shell scripting.
Understanding of core web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and software testing strategies.
Knowledge of data processing, programming languages, databases, networking, operating systems, computer graphics, or human-computer interaction.
Public Compensation: $194,628/year to $229,900/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
