About the Role:
This product-focused Software Engineer will work on our Models team. Our product helps thousands of ML engineers monitor and understand training runs. You can explore an example workspace or try our tutorial, which is simple enough for those with no ML experience.
The Models team focuses on features that improve and centralize the ML development workflow. You'll work directly with customers and other engineering teams to build products and experiences that accelerate ML model development.
Lead new product initiatives to enhance collaboration and information sharing among ML engineers.
Collaborate on complex technical and performance challenges.
Improve developer productivity.
Engage with customer feedback to improve our product, working with support, design, and PM teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
Several years of full-stack engineering experience building and maintaining user-facing products; experience with time series data and visualizations is a plus.
Proficiency in modern web technologies such as React and Typescript.
Strong fundamentals and knowledge of at least one modern programming language (Java, Go, Python, C++, etc.).
Experience delivering high-quality products end-to-end, including design, implementation, testing, and launch.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and understand user-impacting problems.
Skill in building features from complex requirements, either directly from users or support teams.
Interest in AI/ML and a desire to learn.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
The base salary ranges from $153,000 to $204,000, with total target compensation from $176,000 to $234,000, including bonuses, equity, and benefits. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and location.

Work Environment:
We support hybrid work, with remote options for candidates outside 30 miles of an office. New hires attend onboarding at a hub within the first month. Teams gather quarterly for collaboration.
