Job Summary We are seeking a Software Engineer In Test at RBC Bank (Georgia), National Association, Raleigh, NC. The role involves developing and implementing automation for complex test cases across the application lifecycle, conducting multi-level testing (service-level, component, UI), analyzing requirements, and creating data flows to illustrate expected system behavior. The candidate will gain a thorough understanding of banking and financial systems, adhere to quality engineering processes, collaborate with IT and business units, and support junior team members. The role also includes modeling system behavior, employing service virtualization tools, and ensuring comprehensive testing coverage. Responsibilities include: Developing automation for intricate test cases Conducting multi-level tests to assess application functionality Analyzing requirements and creating data flow diagrams Understanding banking and financial systems, processes, and rules Following quality engineering processes and tools Tracking defects and monitoring project metrics Collaborating with IT and business units for software testing Gathering and executing non-functional requirements Providing guidance to junior team members Modeling and updating system behavior models Using service virtualization for early testing Qualifications: Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field At least 2 years of related work experience Experience with Git, Java, JavaScript, Selenium, TestNG, and Rest/Soap services (2 years each) At least 1 year of experience with Load Runner/JMeter Employment Details: Full-time, Monday Friday, 40 hours/week, salary $109,262/year.
