Kavaliro is seeking a Software Engineer III to support a client in Maryland.

Job Description: Kavaliro is seeking a SWE3 to collaborate with a Government customer to migrate operational mission capabilities from on-premises hardware to AWS Cloud compute infrastructure. The candidate must have demonstrable experience assisting in the implementation and support of large-scale cloud systems and services on AWS, from application rehosting to Cloud Native re-architecting. Core technologies and experience include microservices, containers, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), and DevOps practices. AWS Solutions Architect certification preferred but not required for an experienced candidate.

Required Skills: Experience with the USAIC AWS Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure 20+ years of experience in IT/Development Ability to collaboration with multiple stakeholders on the planning, architecture, design, and implementation of AWS well-architected solutions Collaborated with external stakeholders on System Security Plans (SSP), accreditation, and cot optimization Knowledge and experience with AWS managed services, Cloud frameworks, and technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Istio, Terraform, GitLab) Location: Fort Meade, MD This position is onsite and there is no remote availability Clearance Requirement: Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph Kavaliro provides Equal Employment Opportunities to all employees and applicants.
