What does this role look like?

For this role, you will be joining the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Avionics organization committed to developing flight software for the missile system. They will join a team of Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) and software engineers that designs and develops mission critical GNC subsystems for the FBM program. The duties for the position will incorporate all phases of the software development life cycle -- requirements, design, code, test, and maintenance.

Desired skills Experience in processor and microprocessor firmware (non-OS based). • Experience in processor firmware and software (OS based) - software drivers and firmware wrappers. • Understanding of missile or satellite software systems. • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. • Excellent team orientation. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills with management and peers.
