Our Client Portal team is searching for early-in-career engineers who will help architect cutting-edge software integrations and revolutionize the user experience for EvenUp customers! This is a hybrid role with the expectation of working at least 3 days a week from our downtown Toronto or San Francisco hubs. What You'll Do

Actively engage in the full project lifecycle across the stack, with full ownership from conception to deployment and iteration. Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product owners & designers to develop efficient, innovative solutions. Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions. Design and develop interfaces and integration architecture. Document technical interface requirements and convert specifications into technical designs. Solve problems with extensive programming skills and abilities in multiple coding languages and frameworks. Optimize application performance and responsiveness to ensure a smooth user experience. What We Look For

Development Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience crafting applications and services, ensuring intuitive and user-friendly experiences. Technical Expertise: Experience in integrating with third-party vendors and designing dependable integration frameworks. API Design and Development: Skilled in crafting RESTful APIs following industry best practices, with a willingness to mentor fellow engineers. Versatile Skillset: Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and familiarity with protocols like SOAP, REST, and GraphQL, plus server-side languages like SQL. Effective Communication: Ability to convey technical ideas clearly and understandably. Bonus: Experience with React/TypeScript and familiarity with AI, legal tech, or social impact projects.
