A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a  Software Engineer.

Position type: Contract

Duration: 6 Months

Location: San Antonio, TX - Hybrid 3 days

As a Software Engineer , you will : Analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Purview solutions based on customer requirements. Identify requirements for digital transformation and plan third-party integrations. Develop native code and contribute to build vs. buy decisions. Code, test, document, handle errors, and implement performance improvements throughout the development lifecycle. Lead cross-disciplinary teams to deliver scalable, standards-compliant solutions that meet business, technical, and user needs.

The ideal candidate will have: 5–7 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent technical experience). Strong application administration and development experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate and Microsoft 365 Apps-Suite. Expertise in Java and/or web programming (JSP, Servlets, JDBC, web services). Experience with modern frontend frameworks (Angular, React, React Native, VueJS) and web technologies (JSON, HTML). Solid background in relational database development (Oracle, DB2, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle APEX). Hands-on experience with application servers (Apache Tomcat, WebSphere preferred). Familiarity with development methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or RUP. Proficiency in GitHub for version control, including branching, merging, and conflict resolution. Object-oriented programming skills. Strong teamwork and project coordination abilities, including working with Scrum Masters to manage schedules and resources.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $60.00 - $64.00 per hour

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
