Key job responsibilities •Develop and Maintain: Play a key role in the development and maintenance of Java-based applications leveraging AWS services (ECS, SQS, S3, DynamoDB), ensuring our architecture supports scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions. • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and engineers. Your contributions will be crucial in creating optimal customer experiences and steering technology choices. • Coach and Guide: Provide guidance and feedback to help maintain high coding standards and practices. Your efforts will contribute to the growth and development of our engineering team. • Solve Problems: Address complex issues within a well-understood technology strategy. You'll balance business needs with technical solutions to ensure scalability and future growth. • Uphold Best Practices: Your contributions will not only address problems efficiently but also adhere to and promote best practices within the team. • Learn and Grow: You'll have opportunities for continuous learning and contributing to the team's strategy and goals, fostering an inclusive and growth-oriented environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language - Bachelor's degree or equivalent PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - AWS and Java Skills: Proficiency in DynamoDB, ECS, SQS, SNS, S3, and comfort with CI/CD automation. - Search Engine Experience: Experience with search engines (ideally Solr), enhancing our customers' discovery journey. - Open Source Involvement: Familiarity with open-source tools (Git, SpringMVC, SpringBoot, Maven, Gradle, Ant, JUnit, Jenkins) to help us innovate.
