Are you ready to take the wheel on innovative Fire TV partner products? We're seeking talented individuals to join our Fire TV team as Software Development Engineers. Our mission is to deliver an engaging, secure, and robust experience for our customers and partners, continuously integrating new and exciting features throughout a device's lifecycle.
As a team member, you'll collaborate with business partners, software engineers, testers, and UI/UX designers to design, implement, test, document, and maintain complex software applications, tools, and systems. You will have a significant impact on our strategic direction by helping to define product features, drive system architecture, and promote best practices that deliver high-quality products. You'll also have the chance to learn about cutting-edge technologies, refine your project management skills, and even mentor junior software engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and document distributed software applications and systems.
Translate functional requirements into robust, efficient, and supportable solutions.
Evaluate and make decisions regarding the use of new or existing software products and tools.
Mentor and guide junior engineers.
Join the Fire TV 3P engineering team, where you can help shape captivating Fire TV experiences for third-party devices. This greenfield team will create groundbreaking tools and technologies that will transform TV viewing experiences while impacting billions of viewers and devices. With an exciting road map and future launches planned, we will independently own and support the entire product journey for our partners.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
Proficiency in at least one programming language.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
