Your Responsibilities: Collaborate within a newly-founded team dedicated to exploration and innovation. Develop and design systems and services from the ground up, enhancing the experience for millions of Amazon shoppers. Engage in end-to-end design and architecture efforts, partnering with scientists on ML systems. Empower fellow engineers on the team through mentorship and collaboration. Enhance your technical skills in a creative, fast-paced environment that values experimentation. What We’re Looking For: Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience. At least 2 years of experience in system design or architecture. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C++, or C#). Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience throughout the software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
