SoC Performance and NoC Interconnect Fabric Architect/Principal Engineer In this role, you will be part of the hardware-platform SoC performance and NoC Interconnect Fabric team, collaborating with
architecture, modeling, silicon, software, and other design teams to develop competitive designs. We are seeking highly motivated, hands-on
individuals who are passionate about performance improvement in large-scale SoCs, including automotive applications.
Major Responsibilities
Develop complex use-case/workloads for SoC performance requirements and architecture explorations
Collaborate with system architects to develop competitive and scalable interconnect fabric architectures
Drive NoC Interconnect Fabric and Memory System architecture and designs to optimize power, performance, and implementation to
meet performance targets and system requirements
Exhibit a system-level understanding of performance trade-offs, system architecture, memory subsystems, and various memory technologies(ex. LPDDRx)
Ensure all designs comply with automotive industry standards and regulations, such as ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE
Desired skills and experience
Strong knowledge in computer architecture, microarchitecture, and performance
10+ years of relevant experience in architecture, RTL design, performance analysis, and power optimization
Experience in designing and optimizing interconnect Fabric for large-scale SoCs, such as automotive applications
Familiarity with the architecture and micro-architectures of recent ARM processors is a plus
Familiarity with AMBA AXI, CHI, and LPDDR4/5 interfaces/protocols is a plus
Experience in designing interconnect Fabric fail-operational architecture for functional safety is a plus
Good understanding & experience in SOC level use cases in Compute, Automotive, IOT, Servers etc with specific technologies (such as ISO26262, Virtualization, Confidential compute etc) is a plus
Excellent communication, problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and debugging skills
Education
M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or relevant subjects.
Salary range: $190,000 - $250,000
Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
