Title: SMTP Proofpoint Cloudmark Engineer

Position type: Full Time – Contract

Duration: 13+ Months

Location: Charlotte, NC/Chandler, AZ

As SMTP Proofpoint Cloudmark Engineer, You would:

Design, implement email security solutions, including Proofpoint and Proofpoint Cloudmark platforms.

Manage and maintain SMTP gateways, mail routing, and email filtering systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex email delivery and security issues.

Develop and implement email security policies and procedures.

Monitor email traffic for suspicious activity and security threats.

The ideal candidate will have:

Deep understanding of SMTP, email routing, DNS, and other email-related protocols.

Hands-on experience with Proofpoint Cloudmark email security platforms.

Strong knowledge of email security best practices and threat mitigation techniques.

* The primary role of this position is to provide day-to-day support of systems and services in for the Enterprise Messaging SMTP Backbone and Email Security apps that handle the inbound/outbound routing of all email to/from the bank. The primary job is to ensure availability of a large on-premise production environment through proactive monitoring and fast response and resolution to any issues. As part of a 24x7x365 global support team, this position may involve on-call support.

* 4+ years Production SMTP Email support in a large corporate environment, 25,000 + users; including applications / services as follows: Proofpoint Sentrions (migrating to Proofpoint Cloudmark), Zix/Zixport, Proofpoint on Demand (POD), On-Prem Systems (PPS), FireEye, SMTP Enterprise Relay (SER), Microsoft Defender, application channels.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range: $43 to $48 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
