An exciting opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support in a school-based ESY (Extended School Year) program. This contract role is located in Newark, NJ, and focuses on delivering quality speech therapy services to PreK students during the summer session.

• Dates: July 6, 2026, to July 31, 2026
• Location: Newark, NJ
• Schedule: Ideally Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with flexible mornings available
• Caseload: PreK students with diverse speech and language needs

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license is required
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is highly preferred
• Experience providing therapy in school settings, particularly with young children
• Ability to create individualized treatment plans tailored to the developmental needs of PreK students
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators and families

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language assessments and therapy sessions aligned with each student's IEP goals
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with program requirements
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student development
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of early childhood learners during the ESY program
