Site Survey Engineers and Installation Technicians

Crown is looking for  Site Survey Engineers and Installation Technicians  who will be responsible for hands-on support of the equipment and components comprising the FAA’s APC system. Engineers and Technicians will be dispatched to provide on-site support at FAA facilities. This job requires 100% travel.
Specific responsibilities include but may not be limited to: Surveys: Coordinate survey plan with PM and FAA on-site personnel Perform pre-brief to on-site personnel Collect configuration data at FAA site Obtain measurements, equipment information Observe and report potential hazardous materials or safety issues Develop and submit survey reports Installations: 1) Performing system installation including cabling and connections to local area and wide area networks; 2) Supporting familiarization training FAA system support personnel; 3) Resetting passwords, implementing patches, and updating system configuration parameters as required; 4) Coordinating all maintenance actions with operations control center personnel; 5) Performing local and remote testing on equipment including running system diagnostics to identify faults; 6) Performing system restoration including the replacement of LRUs to remedy failures; 7) Returning failed LRUs for repair; 8) Tracking spare parts stock levels; 9) Supporting the development of Technical Manuals. Qualifications
Experience installing/maintaining Air Traffic Control Communications Equipment Experience installing/maintaining Air Traffic Control Remote Communications Equipment (RCE)/CSTI Experience working in and around Air Traffic Control facilities, such as, Air Traffic Control Towers, Air Traffic Control Centers, Terminal Radar Approach Control facilities (TRACON), and Air Traffic Control Remote Transmitter/Receiver (RTR) facilities Experience conducting site surveys to install new networking and communications equipment to the above types of facilities Network installations experience including: Servers, network switches, client work stations, racks, and cabling Proficiency in MS Office products including Visio Must be a US Citizen. This job is 100% travel. Must be able to obtain Public Trust. Must have good credit for travel expenses that will be reimbursed every two weeks.
