Staffmark is partnering with a global leader in asphalt mixing equipment to hire a Service Engineer Technician in Florence, KY. In this high-impact role, you’ll oversee the assembly, commissioning, and technical support of asphalt plants. Pay: $90,000–$100,000/year

Schedule: 12-hour days | Up to 80% travel (domestic & international)

What You’ll Do:

Assemble, test, and commission asphalt mixing plants on-site

Calibrate and verify system performance (electrical/automation components)

Troubleshoot system issues and perform diagnostics during commissioning

Train customer personnel on system operation, safety, and maintenance

Provide on-site and off-site technical support for plant control systems

Maintain accurate service documentation and reports

Recommend system upgrades and enhancements

Ensure safety compliance and environmental standards are met

Represent the company with professionalism and excellent customer service

What You Bring:

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or Mechatronics (or equivalent technical diploma with relevant field experience)

3–5 years’ experience in field service, commissioning, or industrial maintenance (preferably asphalt or heavy machinery)

Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and electrical/automation systems

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

Familiarity with OSHA, NFPA 70E, or other safety certifications (preferred)

Proficiency with diagnostic tools, schematics, and service software

Physically fit for hands-on work, lifting tools, and working outdoors or in confined spaces

Must be willing and able to travel up to 80% of the time
