Senior Transducers Engineer

We're hiring a Senior Transducer Project Engineer to be personally mentored by a renowned Speaker/Audio Engineering Manager with over 40 years of experience in the industry. This role offers hands-on training in the design and development of high-end transducers, tweeters, subwoofers, cabinet and horn design, passive and active crossovers, and complete loudspeaker system testing. Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform crossover design work for both   passive and active (powered)   systems
Translate cosmetic design concepts into   production-ready designs
Measure products to generate data for   spec sheets and owner’s manuals
Conduct   transducer and electronics (DSP/amplifier)   modeling, measurement, and testing
Evaluate   third-party loudspeaker products and services
Develop and implement   QA/QC testing procedures   for loudspeaker systems
Provide guidance to technical and clerical staff regarding   measurement, testing, BOMs, and part numbers
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned
Requirements Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Required:
Education/Training:   BSEE or BS in Physics, or equivalent professional experience with at least   5+   years   of relevant industry experience
Listening Skills:   Professional experience in   sound system operation, mixing, or music performance   — must be able to distinguish “good” vs “bad” sound
Software Expertise:
Loudspeaker design tools (e.g.,   Thiele-Small box design & modelling software )
Acoustic modelling software ( EASE, EASE Focus )
Microsoft Excel (for engineering-focused worksheets), Word
Awareness of CAD design considerations and limitation
Equipment Proficiency:
Familiarity with audio measurement tools and lab equipment including:
TEF20/25 ,   Audio Precision analysers
Oscilloscopes ,   spectrum analysers ,   voltmeters
Universal Expectations:
Adhere to   all safety and environmental policies   and   OSHA regulations
Maintain a   safe, clean, and respectful work environment
Ensure compliance with confidentiality and   customer rights   policies
