They mentor and provide direction to engineers on a project-by-project basis and within the broader organization regarding internal initiatives and project support.ResponsibilitiesDesigns and implements complex, mission-critical, enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift solutions focused on ROSA and OpenShift Virtualization.Develops high-quality deliverables and presentations for client engineering teams and senior leaders.Creates and presents solution designs, options, ideas, and innovations to clients' senior leadership teams.Develops and maintains technical roadmaps and innovation plans.Designs and implements Kubernetes-based virtualization solutions using OpenShift Virtualization on ROSA.Leads ROSA enablement, including networking, storage, identity integration, and platform security, with a focus on Kubernetes networking and AWS cloud services.Develops and implements CI/CD solutions using tools like ArgoCD to enable GitOps-driven workflows.Establishes project estimates and plans, identifies risks and mitigations, and oversees development and delivery of technical solutions.Mentors and supports project teammates, fostering skill development in technologies like Red Hat OpenShift, ROSA, and related tools.Actively leads collaboration within our technical communities, driving innovation in areas such as OpenShift Virtualization, Kubernetes Networking, and AWS.(Optional) Leverages expertise in VMware, Ansible, Terraform, Portworx, and NetApp to extend platform capabilities.QualificationsAbility to develop solutions on a whiteboard for business/technology challenges.Knowledge of cloud-native application design principles, DevSecOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, microservices, containers, etc.Hands-on programming experience, preferably in Python or other languages.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.6+ years of IT experience and 3+ years in Cloud, DevOps, Automation, Application Modernization, Digital Transformation.Experience designing and implementing core platform services around compute, storage, networking, databases, containers, security, and identity.Multiple certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Pro, AWS DevOps Engineer Pro, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Terraform Associate, etc.Experience with organizational adoption of platform engineering, DevOps, cloud transformation, and application modernization initiatives.Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, ARM, CloudFormation.Experience managing deployment services such as Harness, GitHub, Ansible, Jenkins, including branching strategies.Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux virtualized environments.Why AHEAD:We value diversity and foster growth through technology, training, and certifications.
