PING, Inc., maker of PING golf equipment, is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) that will be responsible for coordinating/improving global quality management processes, addressing quality issues on materials/products produced and leading/supporting supplier qualifications, changes and migrations. This position requires the candidate to reside in the Phoenix Metro Area, relocation assistance will be provided.

YOU WILL:
Work closely with global Suppliers to manage their Quality. This includes occasional travel to their factories, leading weekly calls/meetings, having frequent reviews of their component Quality and working closely with PING Supply Chain and Engineering to coordinate associated business efforts.
During the Development Phase of PING product, the SQE is responsible for working closely with PING Project Engineering to ensure the supplier is ready for high-volume production. This includes such items as establishment of limit samples, Go/No-Go gauges, ensuring measurement metrologies are in place and matched, reviewing supplier operating procedures/documents, resolving supplier stability and capability issues and monitoring all supplier/PING data (e.g., Pre-Pilot data, Pilot data).
During Production Phase of PING Product, the SQE is responsible for ensuring supplier-received components meet PING’s Product Specifications through appropriate inspection audits and sampling plans. If issues are found the SQE will be responsible for problem resolution, possible supplier running changes and verification of resolution. Other Production support from the SQE may be required as needed.
Be responsible for managing various supplier and PING methods/documentation: Manufacturing Control Plans, Work Instructions, Critical to Quality (CTQ) billboards/checklists, Supplier SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Inspection Reports for Project Engineers (Development) and Management (Production)
Inspection Sampling Plans including AQL, Escalation paths, etc.
MRB (Material Review Board) product review and dispositioning, Deviation Orders, etc.
Change Control management and New Supplier Qualifications.
Equipment/Process qualification including Metrology R&R (Repeatability & Reproducibility).
Inspection data management and analysis using SPC S/W and Power BI reporting tools.
Work with suppliers to strategically develop and execute qualification plans associated with factory migrations and other changes.
Be available for international travel, primarily to Asia countries (China, Vietnam, Taiwan, etc.).
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Science discipline from a properly accredited college or university, plus a minimum of 6 years related experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal, organizational and team skills with the ability to gain consensus.
Proven ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.
Demonstrated effective leadership, teamwork, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively participate in and manage, focus, and lead cross-disciplinary business meetings.
Ability to develop and lead small projects with multi-functional teams (e.g., engineering, purchasing, operations, etc.). Solid decision making and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, TEAMS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), working knowledge of MS SharePoint. Power BI knowledge also a plus.
Fluency in Mandarin or Vietnamese is helpful but not required.
Familiarity with PING A&T Test Methods and submitting associated Test Requests is a plus.
Experience in Change Control Management is a plus.
AutoCAD experience is also a plus.
High level of familiarity with PING, Inc. product line, the game of golf and the Golf Industry.
