We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer in our Annapolis, MD office.

We manage the entire project lifecycle, from study and planning to design and construction. Responsibilities

Lead structural engineering and project responsibilities on design projects

Prepare detailed plans for bridge design and rehabilitation

Perform engineering design calculations

Develop contract specifications, cost estimates, and bid documents

Lead a team of structural engineers

Conduct field inspections, document findings, and record measurements

Perform QA/QC duties

Mentor and train junior engineers

Assist with proposal preparations

Requirements

B.S. in Civil Engineering

Professional Engineering License

At least ten years of experience in transportation projects, focusing on bridge design (preferably in the Mid-Atlantic Region)

Experience with bridge load ratings and design plan production following Federal and State codes

Ability to work effectively in a team and manage small groups and projects

Detail-oriented, self-starting, and proficient in communication

Proficient in CAD software: Microstation, Open Roads Designer, AutoCAD

Ability to develop proposals, schedules, and manage tasks independently

Benefits Salary Range: $135,000 - $175,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
