You’ll work with a passionate team of engineers, product managers, and designers leveraging AI and relevant technology frameworks.ResponsibilitiesDrive organizational velocity by identifying and pursuing key opportunities across the company to improve customer, business, and technology outcomes.Lead significant technology initiatives end-to-end, including horizontal layers of the architecture.Understand customer behaviors and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop end-to-end solutions for customer problems.Design and implement durable software solutions to address critical customer issues in a fast-paced environment.Contribute beyond primary areas of ownership with a boundaryless mindset.Build AI-native applications, guiding the applicability of AI to customer problems, understanding AI evaluation tools, and staying updated on AI technologies.Create robust, scalable, and secure technical designs, balancing short-term and long-term objectives to ensure high availability and performance.Continuously learn, experiment, and apply cutting-edge technologies to solve customer problems.Team and CollaborationPartner with internal and external groups for cross-functional design, development, and integration.Work with teams from Architecture, Product Management, and Operations to develop and release features.CommunityContribute to standards, best practices, and industry trends to improve engineering practices.Provide insights on emerging technologies, prototypes, patent proposals, and process improvements.CompensationIntuit offers a competitive package with strong pay-for-performance rewards. The base salary range for this role in the Bay Area is $208,000 – $281,500. The position is eligible for bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and location. We also promote pay equity across ethnicity and gender categories.Qualifications8+ years of experience developing systems/software in large business environments.5+ years designing complex distributed systems, management products, or business applications.Full-stack development experience with AI technologies/tools, applying them to user experiences or backend solutions, including experience with SageMaker, Vert.x, LangChain, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, DialogFlow, Python.Experience with front-end technologies (React, Angular, SwiftUI, Kotlin) and back-end technologies (Java, Typescript, Spring, NodeJS).Experience in cloud environments like AWS or GCP is highly desirable.At least 1 year working on AI-native applications.BSc/MS in Computer Science or related field.Leadership and Team SkillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Effective mentoring and influence skills, able to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences.Team-oriented with the ability to work in fast-paced, complex environments.Excellent communication skills to all levels, including executives.Self-starter with independent decision-making capabilities.Able to work effectively across global teams and time zones.
