Come build with us! Role and Responsibilities Perform electronics engineering duties in furtherance of verification of power efficient mobile graphics processors. Develop tests and verification plans to verify the functionality of the GPU at the system level. Review and verify the micro-architecture specifications of all the subsystems of the GPU, including close interaction with implementation and micro-architecture engineers. Create high quality test-bench infrastructures, which are well-documented, extensible, and easily invoked by the implementation team. Contribute to the bring-up of complex interactions among the various sub-blocks. Debug, repair, and verify GPU system failures. Contribute to power and performance team initiatives in both measuring the design’s QoR and also in working to verify the metrics. Develop a comprehensive test suite for regressions and monitor the results of test to ensure regressions are found. May work from home on a hybrid schedule within San Jose and surrounding areas. Skills and Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or in a closely related or equivalent field plus eight (8) years of experience in a related occupation preforming each of the following: design verification of deep pipelined digital designs using CPU or GPU or other IP. Alternate Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or in a closely related or equivalent field and ten (10) years of experience in a related occupation preforming each of the following: design verification of deep pipelined digital designs using CPU or GPU or other IP. Total Rewards At Samsung – SARC/ACL, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $247,134.58 - $297,200.00. Your actual base pay will depend on variables that may include your education skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. This is an exempt position, which is not eligible for overtime pay under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
