The Senior Site Reliability Engineer is an advanced role responsible for leading complex projects that enhance Pearson's system reliability, availability, and performance. This individual will act as a mentor to junior engineers, drive initiatives for operational efficiency, and align SRE efforts with Pearson's overarching objectives. Skills & Qualities: Proficiency in Pearson's technology stack: Kubernetes, AWS Services, Terraform, Terragrunt

Skilled in Python, Go, Bash, and other languages for infrastructure automation and system management

Strong leadership, mentoring, communication, and collaboration abilities

Resilient and adaptable in fast-paced environments

Commitment to continual learning and skill enhancement

Minimum Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in Software Engineering

5+ years of SRE experience on complex projects

Established SRE standards with peer recognition

Strong collaboration with internal customers and partners

Experience working across engineering levels and management

Proven mentor and coach to teammates and partners
