About the role: The Senior Software Engineer will handle complex tasks across the software lifecycle, lead smaller projects, participate in design discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior engineers. You will be the technical owner of your team's delivery. What we are looking for: 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience Proven technical leadership Ability to interpret technical and functional requirements Proficiency with Golang or Rust, and Java Experience with Big Data, Cloud, and Enterprise frameworks Experience developing web-socket and RESTful APIs Strong knowledge of software design and architecture patterns Experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes Team-oriented collaborator Mentoring junior engineers Knowledge & experience with Kubernetes, databases, CI/CD pipelines, and high-performance applications Ability to obtain Security+ certification within 90 days of employment Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field Highly preferred: Experience with Software Factories and Big Data Platforms Experience with DuckDB and Kafka Certified Kubernetes Developer Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance Work Details: Onsite at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH Up to 25% travel Salary Range: $150,000 - $190,000 Compensation based on experience, skills, and abilities Benefits: Competitive salary Fully covered healthcare, dental, and vision 401(k) with company match PTO + 11 paid holidays Training and education benefits Referral bonuses And more!
