Ready to be a Titan? As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of the engineering team at ServiceTitan, tasked with improving our existing products and building new ones. This is an exciting and impactful role where you’ll lead major feature development and help us with a critical migration for the Convex product built in Ruby. What you’ll do: Architect, design, and implement user-facing features from end to end.

Work with our current codebase, primarily written in Ruby , to support and improve existing features.

Lead the effort to migrate our applications from Ruby to the C#/.NET technology stack.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to prototype and implement new product features.

Communicate effectively with other engineers, product managers, customers, and partners.

Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices.

What you’ll bring: 8+ years of industry experience in software development.

Expert-level knowledge of Ruby and object-oriented programming principles.

Proven experience with the Microsoft .NET technology stack(C# / .NET,MVC, Web APIs) and SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server or similar).

Experience in successfully migrating applications from one technology stack to another.

Ability to empathize with our users and champion their experience.

A data-driven approach to product decisions; A/B testing experience is a plus.

Strong communication and technical writing skills.

Strong understanding of JavaScript and experience with front-end frameworks like React are a plus.

Experience with development tools such as Git, Visual Studio, JIRA, and proficiency in unit testing and debugging.

B.S., M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
