Marathon TS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Stack Developer, Python/React Developer to join its team. In this role, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing and sustaining Natural Language Processing (NLP) and web scraping solutions and other solutions to enhance the capabilities of our government partner's tools.
Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain web applications using Python, React, and Flask • Create and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between the front-end and back-end systems • Optimize application performance and ensure scalability • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise • R&D: Stay up to date with the latest advancements, industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our development processes • Technical leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and operations teams, to gather requirements and formulate them into feasible solutions for the unit • Communication: Lead interactions with operational and technical stakeholders to present findings, insights, and recommendations to in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and through reports or presentations. • Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior data scientists, data analysts, and/or software engineers, providing technical expertise and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning • Candidates MUST possess the ability to obtain a government security clearance and candidates with existing security clearances will be considered first.
Minium required skills, experience and education: · + years of proven Full-stack development experience, including both front-end and back-end development · Undergraduate or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered) · Proficiency in Python, , HTML, JavaScript, React · Familiarity with Docker and AWS infrastructure · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on complex challenges and deliver impactful solutions. · Strong sense of curiosity and ability to self-learn; willingness to research, design, test & productize Client solutions and learn from open-ended experiments · Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders. · Understanding of data security principles · Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining a US Govt. security clearance
