The Senior Software Engineer - Pega is a key role responsible for leading the design of technology solutions. You will ensure these solutions meet all aspects of resiliency, stability, and readiness, both functional and operational. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design of technology solutions to meet resiliency, stability, and non-functional requirements. Oversee ongoing development, maintenance, and support for existing systems and platforms. Guide and influence team members while providing constructive feedback. Participate in staffing initiatives to identify subject matter experts (SMEs) and contribute to staff performance reviews. Own the technology solutions within your area, focusing on monitoring, alerting, and maintaining the technological roadmap. Drive innovation and continuous improvement through proactive engagement. Complete other duties as assigned. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in application development or software implementation. Strong ability to lead, mentor, and provide feedback to team members. Additional Qualifications: Experience with Pega BPM and Pega PRPC Platform. Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Postgres SQL, and tools like SOAPUI/Postman or IntelliJ and GitHub. Ability to present technical and non-technical material effectively. Proven skills in problem-solving and analytical thinking. Strong documentation skills and ability to transition abstract concepts into stable software solutions. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies. Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements such as HIPAA and PCI. Background in the healthcare or PBM industry. Understanding of security implications within the domain. Experience leading and mentoring others. Physical Requirements: Ability to travel up to 5% of the time. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed. Must be able to sit for extended periods and use hands for manipulation. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required. As part of your employment, you will need to understand and comply with security responsibilities and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements. The potential pay for this position ranges from $94,000.00 to $160,000.00, depending on experience and skills.
