As a Senior Software Engineer on our full-stack LLM integration and delivery team, you’ll play a leading role in architecting robust, scalable applications that enable intelligent workflows across national security domains. Your work will directly impact the speed and reliability of delivering advanced capabilities to operators and analysts who need them most. Here's What Your Day-to-Day Might Include Leading the design and development of scalable, AI-powered applications leveraging LLM technologies.
Architecting infrastructure that enables rapid iteration and deployment of new features.
Partnering with product and mission teams to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
Developing and managing automation tools to streamline deployment and improve system reliability.
Implementing and maintaining monitoring, alerting, and logging systems.
Conducting performance tuning and capacity planning for AI workloads.
Participating in incident response and root cause analysis to strengthen system resilience.
Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team-wide engineering standards and growth.
Identifying and implementing process improvements and infrastructure optimizations.
Minimum Qualifications Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance (Full Scope Polygraph preferred).
Education & Experience: 12+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree).
Required Skills Strong full-stack development experience, including building user-facing applications.
Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or similar modern programming languages.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across complex, distributed systems.
Experience implementing observability with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
Passion for delivering user-centered products and collaborating across disciplines.
Desired Qualifications Experience developing and deploying LLM-powered systems or similar AI/ML models.
Familiarity with AI/ML serving infrastructure and MLOps practices.
Knowledge of A/B testing, feature flagging, and agile experimentation.
Prior experience in product-centric engineering environments.
Contributions to open-source software or active engagement with the developer community.
Experience with real-time streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka or Flink.
Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
Exposure to chaos engineering and systems resiliency testing.

Compensation Range: $171,000.00 - $226,000.00 *The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role.
