About Us
Were developing a cutting-edge additive manufacturing system capable of producing flight-ready components using a proprietary thermoset and ceramic-based 3D printing process. Our technology enables faster, cleaner, and more scalable production of complex aerospace parts through direct ink write (DIW) extrusion, real-time process control, and digital factory infrastructure. Applications span thermal protection systems, propulsion hardware, satellites, and other mission-critical platforms. Our factory platform integrates sensors, robotics, and advanced controls to create a self-learning, highly adaptable manufacturing environment, pushing the boundaries of whats possible in automated aerospace production.
Job Duties
- Architect and build real-time monitoring and control software for advanced composite 3D printing
- Develop closed-loop systems that coordinate thermal, extrusion, and motion control using sensors and actuators
- Design scalable digital infrastructure to manage and monitor a fleet of additive machines across production
- Integrate cloud connectivity for system analytics, logging, diagnostics, and performance tuning
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to test and optimize control systems
- Interface with traceability, scheduling, and quality systems including potential ERP/MRP integration
- Select and implement protocols, libraries, and system architectures balancing performance and maintainability
- Contribute to test frameworks, quality assurance, and system stability in production environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Software Engineering, or a similar technical field
- 5+ years of experience building industrial, robotics, or manufacturing software
- Strong programming skills in Rust, Python, and/or C/C++
- Experience developing control systems or real-time applications for motion and process control
- Familiarity with industrial protocols such as ROS, G-code, Modbus, or OPC UA
- Experience integrating hardware: sensors, actuators, embedded systems, or PLCs
- Ability to work closely with cross-disciplinary engineering teams in fast-paced environments
Preferred Experience
- Masters or Ph.D. in a related technical field
- Background in additive manufacturing, robotic arms, or CNC systems
- Experience with Direct Ink Write (DIW) or extrusion-based 3D printing platforms
- Familiarity with smart factory systems, IIoT, or industrial data architecture
- Understanding of aerospace manufacturing traceability, compliance, and quality control
- Experience with ERP/MRP integration (e.g., Odoo)
- Hands-on experience with factory-level automation, monitoring, and control loops
