Due to the success of continued growth, the Leidos Innovations Center (LInC) at Leidos (located in Arlington, VA, or San Diego, CA) currently has an opening for a Senior Signal Processing Engineer . As a LInC EW Senior Signal Processing Engineer , you will be responsible for research, design, and development of signal collection, processing, and dissemination systems. Duties may include designing, developing, and analyzing systems for extracting information from signal sensors. You will support the division by achieving program objectives, leading technical teams, and participating in business development activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, operate independently with limited supervision, be a team player, and establish solid working relationships with technical staff, peers, and external government customers. Regular tasks will include: Developing novel and advanced algorithms, performance simulation, and analysis using simulated and real data in both time series and spectral domains. Serving as a Technical Team Lead. Leading or supporting marketing and business development initiatives: developing technical solutions and new ideas for response to capture efforts (e.g., BAAs, RFPs). Participating in and/or leading lab-based and field testing. Managing multiple projects. Communicating results through briefings and written reports to your team, the customer, and management. Join us and make a difference in advanced warfare technology! Basic Qualifications: Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience. Fluency with tools such as MATLAB, Linux, Mathematica, Python, Simulink, and languages like C/C++, Java. Knowledge in digital filtering, spectral estimation, detection and estimation theory, linear algebra, and stochastic processes. Leadership experience with small multidisciplinary technical teams or projects. Strong oral and written communication skills. Experience working in EW, SIGINT, and/or radar fields as a technical leader. Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree. Experience in business development and capture activities (e.g., proposals, white papers). Experience in a research and development environment. Note: The salary range for this position is $180,000 - $260,000 for qualified candidates with an active clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. The position requires onsite work in Arlington, VA, or San Diego, CA. Original Posting Date: April 1, 2025.
