About the Role: As a Senior Service Application Engineer, you will lead the Application Engineering team to ensure timely and budget-friendly project delivery. Your responsibilities include creating control databases, graphic screens, and setting up control systems in accordance with project specifications or sales proposals. You will also engage in field startup and system commissioning tasks, along with remote software and control program installations. Technical support will be provided both on-site and remotely for Lead Application Engineers, Application Engineers, installers, and customers. Proficiency in Niagara is crucial for this role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain application database standards and processes. Create programming logic with flow diagrams, sequences of operation, and project specifications. Utilize various software tools to program control applications that support operator workstations, DDC field panels, and third-party integration devices through multiple communication protocols. Conduct job site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications to ensure compliance with project documentation. Develop system graphic displays according to project specifications. Provide on-site and remote technical support for installers and customers. Serve as the technical liaison between owners and construction managers. Deliver customer operator training on the installed systems. Perform system analysis and diagnostics, determining corrective actions as needed. Coordinate with contractors for system installation. Complete final walkthroughs with owners and construction managers to verify all punch list items and obtain substantial completion signoff. Travel Requirements: Expect some travel, including overnight trips, up to 10% of the time. What You'll Need: To excel in this role, candidates should possess: A Bachelor's Degree in HVAC, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant industry experience. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills for timely and efficient customer service. Advanced financial knowledge for analyzing terms and calculations. Proven problem-solving skills, with a capacity to interpret complex documents and situations. Proficiency in Windows-based applications like MS-Word and MS-Excel. Extensive knowledge in programming tools and HVAC systems terminology, especially with BAS drawings. Work Flexibility: Must be willing to adapt schedules as needed, including working nights and holidays. Compensation: CBRE offers a competitive salary range for this position, starting at a minimum of $90,000 annually and going up to a maximum of $100,000 annually.
